
On the 5th March 1975 Griffith University began teaching at their foundation campus of Nathan. Over forty years on, Griffith University is today represented by five campuses that stretch from Brisbane City to the Gold Coast and they are recognised as one of the top 50 young universities in the world.
Since Griffith University started teaching over 40 years ago, they’ve been deeply connected to the Asian region, socially conscious and environmentally aware, an integral part of the community and heavily industry focused.
Their teaching and research spans six campuses in South East Queensland and all disciplines, while their network of more than 200,000 graduates extends around the world.
Griffith University has also become a comprehensive, research-intensive university, ranking in the top 2% of universities worldwide. Griffith University ranks highly as a young university, ranking 35th in the 2019 QS World University Rankings Top 50 Under 50 and 37th in the 2018 Times Higher Education Young University Rankings.
