On 23 April 1987, Bond University was given its University status by an Act of the State of Queensland’s Parliament.

Modelled on the traditions of the world’s best educational institutions to provide an educational experience of the highest international standards, the University continues to be recognised both in Australia and internationally as a leading not-for-profit university, where 100% of tuition fees are reinvested in ensuring their students have access to world-class facilities and learning resources, and learn under the guidance of expert academics.

Bond University is recognised as an accredited Australian university by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). Bond’s courses for international students are registered with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

Why Study at Bond University?

  • Bond runs three full semesters a year, with intakes in January, May and September. This means that you can complete a standard bachelor’s degree in just two years. It also means you will be out in the workforce up to a year ahead of the rest, earning sooner.
  • Bond’s personalised teaching philosophy means you will learn in smaller class sizes with unprecedented one-on-one access to your professors. Even outside of class time, their academics have an open door policy that means they will not only know you by name, they’ll actively mentor your progress.
  • At Bond, they believe education goes beyond the classroom. Their unique Beyond Bond program will expand your horizons with internships, global volunteering programs, international competitions, industry conferences, study tours, community service and much, much more.
  • Bond University has been listed in the prestigious global top 20 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings of the Best Small Universities in the World, thanks to their personalised teaching philosophy and outstanding student experience released in 2018.
  • All students no matter what discipline have access to the Transformer entrepreneurship program fee-free. Based in a dedicated co-working space, it provides a collaborative environment where you can work on a project, taking it from initial idea through to execution. With 24/7 access for students, it is a hub to meet, interact and join forces with like-minded classmates and team members who will help you take your project to the next level.
