Named after Sir Stamford Raffles (1781-1826), Stamford International University opened its first campus near Palm Hills Golf Resort, Hua-Hin in 1995.
Stamford International University is one of the most international, diverse and experienced faculty in Thailand. 70 percent of Stamford faculty members are international from countries including the USA, UK, France, Germany, and many more. Stamford serves over 4,000 students from more than 90 countries.
Stamford International University offers international English-based Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs to more than 2,500 students at its city campus in Bangkok and Thai-based Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs at its lakeside campus near the Palm Hills Golf Resort in Hua Hin.
Since 2012, Stamford became part of the Laureate International Universities network, the largest education network in the world present in 28 countries serving over 1 million students across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Stamford International University and its programs, curricula and degrees are fully accredited by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of University Affairs (MUA) of Thailand. It is listed in the MUA’s List of Recognised Private Universities.
